Hanna Baranova

printmaking, drawing, design

Hanna Baranova was born and raised in Kropyvnytskyi, Ukraine. Her artistic journey began during her childhood, when she attended the O.O. Osmyorkin Art School in Kropyvnytskyi to learn the fundamental techniques of painting.

She later advanced her formal education at the H.S. Skovorody Kharkiv National Pedagogical University, where she studied at the Faculty of Arts from 2003 to 2006 and earned a degree in Fine Art. Following her graduation, she felt inspired to pursue a professional path as both a designer and an artist.

Today, Baranova works across the disciplines of printmaking, drawing, and design. As an active member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, she continues to establish her presence within the art community.

Her work is deeply rooted in a philosophy of resilience; she believes that even in the darkest times, in the bleakest places, and in the most desperate situations, there is always a glimmer of hope to be found—a tiny seed of the future waiting to grow.
