Benjamin Jones is an artist based in London, who works primarily with black and white, analogue photographic processes to develop multiple groups of work. These include depictions of objects and places as well as abstractions derived from material experimentation. Selected exhibitions include: To Live Inside a Second (solo), Una Boccata d’Arte, Trentino (IT, 2023); A Section of a Living Circle (solo), Galerie Heimat, Provence (FR, 2023); The Actual Life of a Thought (solo), LOOM Gallery, Milano (IT, 2023); Between Our Sense of Then and of Today (solo), Michael Pennie Gallery, Bath (UK, 2022); Post No Bills (with Stephan Keppel), The Koppel Project Hive, London (UK, 2022); Something, Like Nothing, Happens Anywhere (solo), Camera Austria, Graz (AT, 2021). From 2016-17 he was a fellow at Spike Island, Bristol, and has participated in residencies in the UK, Greece, Austria, France and Italy. His work has been published by Photomonitor, Tall Poppy Press, M-A (A Space Between), Camera Austria and various other journals.
